This region is located in the center of Argentina. Its main attraction is the landscape, surounded by a low but beautiful mountain range. This area is ideal for adventure tourism, mainly in the Cordoba and San Luis provinces. Also it is possible to do other activities like horse ridding, mountain bike, 4x4 adventures, among others.
Las Sierras Centrales invite you to enjoy the peace of the smooth landscape.In this region the pure air of valleys and mountain ranges is very good for the health. In some areas there is a favouable microclimate for people that suffer from respiratory problems.
In winter, in certain zones it is possible to observe snowing, whereas in summer raining. Generally the region owns a good weather.
Among the flora the presence of the carob tree stands out, specifically in Cordoba and San Luis. During the spring the majority of the species blooms and the cuttings are covered with an attractive green colour.
"El Espinal" is a natural region that surrounds, like a gigantic horseshoe, the Pampan pasture, covers plains. It covers plains and low mountainous areas.
The Pampan Pasture covers an extensive region of the east-center of Argentina including portions of the "Mesopotámica", Central Mountain range and Pampan regions. It is placed mainly in smoothly uneven level reliefs or, also in low mountainous areas. The wheather is tempered warm with decreasing rains of the northeast 1,500 millimeters to the southwest 400 millimeters.
The outstanding vegetation is the steppe or pseudosteppe.
Among the fauna, we can see a wide variety of species, standing out the puma, "corzuela", the "pecarí", "vizcacha", the fox and the weasel.
Rlated with birds, we can emphasize: the condor, the eagle, the hawk, jote, "lechuza", "chingolo", and the "reina mora". Among the reptiles we find "iguana" or "lagarto overo" and great amount of vipers, snakes, frogs and toads.
Part of the Pampan mountain ranges is located in this region, that hoard between their long valleys, barren and desert, saline zones and oasis with beautiful streams and dams.
